Q: When should I start looking for my wedding gown?
Dresses usually take between 4-5 months to order. We will then need time to fit & make alterations when the dress arrives, so ideally 6 months gives you plenty of time.

Q: What happens if I only have several weeks?
Some of our Collections offer a rush service, plus we always have a selection of sample dresses for sale, all in extremely good condition and very reasonably priced.

Q: Why so you have an appointment system?
We believe in offering a personal service so an appointment system allows us to block out a dedicated time to give you our full attention. We usually allow 1 – 1.5 hours for an appointment to try on gowns which takes place in our totally private, downstairs fitting area.

Q: Who should I bring to my appointment?
Brides usually bring their mothers and or very close friends whose judgement they can trust. Too many opinions can cause confusion.

Q: Who does the alterations?
As part of our personalised service we do all the fittings and most of the alterations ourselves in house to retain total control. We also use a specialised seamstress to help with hems etc for Bridesmaids dresses.

Q: How many fittings will I need?
When you have chosen your dress we will measure you and some of our ranges offer made to measure service. Your dress will then be made as close to your measurements as possible.

Some alterations are usually necessary though, so one fitting is usually needed when your dress arrives and one more when the final alterations have been completed.

Q: What will I need for my first fitting?
You will need a good bra/undergarment and similar height shoes as the length will be determined at this fitting.

Q: What if I lose weight?
Commonly brides lose weight before their wedding so we try to do the final alterations as near to the wedding date as possible to account for this.

Q: How/when do I pay for my gown?
We take a 50% deposit to order your gown and accept cash, cheque or all major credit cards. The balance is then paid when you take your dress along with any other extras i.e. tiara, veil, shoes and alterations etc.

Q: Are alterations included in the price?
No, however alterations are priced according to the amount of work that
needs to done dependant on the style of dress you choose.
